 Most people with the responsibility for conducting meetings will admit inadequacies, fear, and frustration.  Most construction operations place huge importance on the outcomes of meetings at a variety of levels.  This open forum discussion will allow meeting facilitators / conductors to learn from and contribute to the learning of their peers, the industry, and professional meeting facilitators.

Topics of discussion will include:

• Meeting preparation
• Controlling negativity
• Steering participants through multiple topics
• Tracking important meeting progress and results
• Dealing with difficult situations
• Meeting room dynamics
• Managing meeting time
• Delivering meeting expectations

Learning Objectives / Outcomes

• have a better understanding of how others within the industry face and overcome the challenges of conducting effective meetings
